Degree Entry Requirements
Minimum entry requirements of the Faculty are five CXC CSEC (or GCSE or O’level) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and two Approved CSEC Science subjects. This only allows entry to the 4‑Year degree programme in which Preliminary Science courses (CAPE equivalents) are taken in the first year.
To directly enter the 3‑Year BSc programme you must have CAPE double unit passes in TWO disciplines, one of which must be an Approved CAPE Science subject. For many programmes these two CAPE double unit passes must be in two particular Science disciplines, due to specific entry requirements for 3-year BSc programmes.
A number of Alternative Entry Qualifications are also recognized by the Faculty.
