Description: Long thin black club, with rough outer surface, Some individuals are straight, others branched. 

Mushroom: 28 - 79 mm in height, 1-3 mm in diameter. Stalk-like structure, white in cross section, with small black circles (asci) along the edge of the structure. 

Spores: Black, elliptical.

 Specimens: St. Thomas; Welchman Hall Gully, (13o 11.383’, 59o 39.572’ W), Daniel-07-75, January-03-07.
