The  SYLLABUS  (page 93 94) is a description of what UWI offers and expects the student to have covered during the semester.

Although not expressly shown in the  handbook, material covered in EL10A is also applicable to EL10C and EL22C. This is particularly true of Kirchoff's Laws and certain circuit simplification techniques.

The COURSE OUTLINE is a summary of the Lecturer's presentation of information contained in the COURSE TEXT. This presentation over the semester is expected to meet the requirements of the UWI syllabus, (page 93 94).

The COURSE TEXT for semester 1, 2003 is: Introductory Circuits for Electrical and Computer Engineering: James W. Nilsson, Susan A. Riedel.

For those really interested in reading or who want to get a different perspective!

This course can be mathematical at some points and the ability to model circuits and have the computer provide solutions should assist with the mathematics.

Learn to use the software which is available. It is a powerful tool. It will give you solutions quickly against which you can check your math.

See how similar material is presented at different Universities. You are not alone!!!!
