Taking the Region Forward: An Alumni Perspective

The University of the West Indies Cave Hill campus is seeking to engage former students with an all-day symposium slated for Saturday, November 10, 2018. It will be held in the Roy Marshall Teaching Centre, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The symposium will be guided by the theme: Taking the Region Forward: An alumni perspective, and is part of ongoing activities to observe The UWI’s 70th anniversary.

The symposium will address topics such as meeting the development needs of the region, funding the university -- to be delivered by former Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Owen Arthur -- alumni engagement and recommendations on the way forward.

Panellists will include Chancellor Emeritus, Sir George Alleyne, Professor Emeritus Sir Woodville Marshall, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxine McClean, former Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados, Dr. Marion Williams, Dr. Raymond Massay and prominent businessman Ralph ‘Bizzy’ Williams.
